As Time Passes By My Window I Notice Things Never Stay The Same

I love being home. It's crazy to look back a think just a year ago I was graduating from high school. Senior week, beach party, graduation, grad parties, state track nonstop action. There was just so much going on. So much family-so much friends-so much fun.

It was around this time too that friends began and continued to dissapoint me and I started to realize what a year of college would do to all of us. I had my ideas of how a year of college would change everyone and now it's wierd to be home and see how many of these friends have changed after a year apart in new and different surroundings.

But this year that has passes also has shown to me those constants in my life.I had my ideas pretty set in stone last year. And now I know with even more assurity of those that I can truly count on always, even if we've gone weeks or months without talking.

Seeing how some of my high school friends have changed in just one year scares me, I feel like I don't even know them anymore. Well actually I guess what I'm feeling is right, I don't know them anymore. But that makes me even more grateful for the friends I have met out at college. I just love them oh so verry verrrrrry much. Knowing I have great friends back at college makes this whole change thing much easier knowing I have marvelous friends to go back to in the fall & I just can't wait! Now don't get me wrong I'm loving this home and bestest friends around me deal too! But I've come to realize while this home & Naperville will always be my home it won't always be my life.

Bahhh see I tell ya I only get on this blogger thing when I've been thinking to much. And well yup I've been thinking too much. But tonight is Shelby's graduation party. Once again: ah so crazy! I've made her a College survival kit & lessons she should know.

#1. Don't leave you'r dorm after 2 am- nothing good comes of it. And if you do bring a first aid kit.
#2. Multiple alarms are a good idea especially on exam days. And if you much result to parents and friends for a phone call.
#3. Use post it's and calendars! You may thing you can remember everthing but sorry you're getting old.
#4. You're never too old for a sippy cup, juice or crayons. (cups are a good alternative for bowls when eating cereal or ice cream & crayons are a excellent way to meet friends in a boring class)
#5. Avoid damage to your dorm walls and avoid fines but using those 3m hooks. Thery're the best!
#6. Freah fruits & veggies are essential to survival...along with sleep and water too aduh!
#7. Big comfy pillows and blankets are perfect for sleeping, sharing, & watching movies. They are a college must!
#8. "REMEBER WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU STAND FOR!" (and that I love you and I'm always there for you, only a phone call away)
#9. Have fun. Step out of your comfort zones. Don't miss me too much ;) But for sure don't forget to call em. And when you miss me or want to just dance just listen to this cd
(obviously i included a cd at that portion of the boook i made her)

Well down below is Sheldon my sister...actually Shelby Pealer we may not share a last name but I know that she'll always be there for me and I for her. She rocks and I'm dedication this blog to her. I don't think I've dedicated a blog before but hey I'm just learning the blogging world. She is such an example and inspiration to oh so many including me. She continually amazes me with all the service and good she does for others her heart is way to big for her own good. She always sees and believes in the good of others this girl is going to go far I tell ya nothing is going to stop her. Now time to go celebrate and dance at her grad party.
Peace Out Girl Scout!
