Pure Summer Moments
Pure Summer Moments: How do i even begin to explain, you just have to expereince them, I guess like love, you can't explain until you've felt it (definitly not saying i've felt it....for those of you who are reading this and think I'm talking about a someone i'm not promise! anyways....) Pure Summer Moments are difficult to explain because it's just everything working out so perfectly, it's those moments when you have no cares, no worries & you're loving and living life in the exact second you're in not worrying about time or what might happen. Pure summer moments happen when you least expect them to, thats what makes them so pure. I've already had so many pure summer moments and I love them. It's seriously the best feeling in the world.
Now expereincing a pure summer moment is totally random and spuratic so to capture a pure summer moment on film is even harder. But this picture here is one of my favorite pure summer moments of all time. Shelbs, Joc, Anna & I were driving home from IHSA girls track & frield state meet watching the amazing Amanda Fox place 12th in state. She's DA BOMB! But anyways the whole car ride home we had been blasting music & dancing, not caring about how long it was taking us to get home not caring what else we had to do that day we were just living love and dancing in the present moment. And well when we started to slow down because of traffic we didn't even care we just started singing out the window to all teh cars around us on the freeway. And welll we happened to stick the camera out the window and just capture the moment. It wasn't until after the picture was snapped that i realized it was a pure summer moment on camera...because I was so busy living in the present that it didn't even realize it! Anyways got to go clean my room. This blog is helping me avoid cleaning but well my room is crying out, it needs my help. And well i've got a full week of work again starting tomorrow morning so goodbye forever. (Ha much much more to tell later through)
Moral of this blog: Pure Summer Moments are the best

As Time Passes By My Window I Notice Things Never Stay The Same
I love being home. It's crazy to look back a think just a year ago I was graduating from high school. Senior week, beach party, graduation, grad parties, state track nonstop action. There was just so much going on. So much family-so much friends-so much fun.
It was around this time too that friends began and continued to dissapoint me and I started to realize what a year of college would do to all of us. I had my ideas of how a year of college would change everyone and now it's wierd to be home and see how many of these friends have changed after a year apart in new and different surroundings.
Bahhh see I tell ya I only get on this blogger thing when I've been thinking to much. And well yup I've been thinking too much. But tonight is Shelby's graduation party. Once again: ah so crazy! I've made her a College survival kit & lessons she should know.
#1. Don't leave you'r dorm after 2 am- nothing good comes of it. And if you do bring a first aid kit.
#2. Multiple alarms are a good idea especially on exam days. And if you much result to parents and friends for a phone call.
#3. Use post it's and calendars! You may thing you can remember everthing but sorry you're getting old.
#4. You're never too old for a sippy cup, juice or crayons. (cups are a good alternative for bowls when eating cereal or ice cream & crayons are a excellent way to meet friends in a boring class)
#5. Avoid damage to your dorm walls and avoid fines but using those 3m hooks. Thery're the best!
#6. Freah fruits & veggies are essential to survival...along with sleep and water too aduh!
#7. Big comfy pillows and blankets are perfect for sleeping, sharing, & watching movies. They are a college must!
#8. "REMEBER WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU STAND FOR!" (and that I love you and I'm always there for you, only a phone call away)
#9. Have fun. Step out of your comfort zones. Don't miss me too much ;) But for sure don't forget to call em. And when you miss me or want to just dance just listen to this cd
(obviously i included a cd at that portion of the boook i made her)
Well down below is Sheldon my sister...actually Shelby Pealer we may not share a last name but I know that she'll always be there for me and I for her. She rocks and I'm dedication this blog to her. I don't think I've dedicated a blog before but hey I'm just learning the blogging world. She is such an example and inspiration to oh so many including me. She continually amazes me with all the service and good she does for others her heart is way to big for her own good. She always sees and believes in the good of others this girl is going to go far I tell ya nothing is going to stop her. Now time to go celebrate and dance at her grad party.

I had my ideas of how a year of college would change everyone and now it's wierd to be home and see how many of these friends have changed after a year apart in new and different surroundings.
But this year that has passes also has shown to me those constants in my life.I had my ideas pretty set in stone last year. And now I know with even more assurity of those that I can truly count on always, even if we've gone weeks or months without talking.
Seeing how some of my high school friends have changed in just one year scares me, I feel like I don't even know them anymore. Well actually I guess what I'm feeling is right, I don't know them anymore. But that makes me even more grateful for the friends I have met out at college. I just love them oh so verry verrrrrry much. Knowing I have great friends back at college makes this whole change thing much easier knowing I have marvelous friends to go back to in the fall & I just can't wait! Now don't get me wrong I'm loving this home and bestest friends around me deal too! But I've come to realize while this home & Naperville will always be my home it won't always be my life.

What I've Learned From College

Best of Both Worlds
I just want the best of both worlds. That's all. Is that too much to ask? I didn't think by the end of the school year I'd truly want to stay in Logan. But now that the school year is speeding to an ending I just can't come to terms with the fact that I'm leaving this whole new life I've made for myself. Well I haven't really made it for myself at all actually it just happened. Everything has just fallen into place so perfectly. And yet everything is so perfect & totally amazing back home two. I just want it all I want my Logan life and Naperville life to just mesh into one. But sadly I have these two alternate lives across the country from each other.
I swear (but i don't) the only time I get on this blogger journal is when I can't sleep at night but have wound down enough to think ab out everything in life.
After friday night's True Aggie Nights Dance, Court Kiley & I all jumping into Kris's bed and waking him up to go find the best slurpees in Logan at 2 am, writing with my left hand, driving around with the windows rolled down and blasting music, 6 hour track meet, sock and jersey tan lines, flag football on the quad, bon fire in the canyon, & playing things with mix of "Fez" and my friends I just can't imagine leaving this new "world". A whole new world a dazzling place i've never known (yes Aladdin). And yet the reasons I love all of these things so much is beacuse they all remind me of home in one way or another. Everything just felt so free and easy...just. like. summer. & home. And I just love it!
Well now that my brain is shutting down I should probably stop rambling on and on and go to bed. Alright well goodnight goodnight on this blessed day of jocelyn's birth!
I want it all I want it all I want it alllll. Basically i just wish there were a way to "mix it all together and you know you've got the best of both worlds". Oh the wise words of HM hannah montana aduhhh!
