We're Just So Funny

Tuesday, April 19, 2011
Friday April 15th was the 99th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic the supposedly "unsinkable boat". So much for that motto. Here's a better one: "Tacos & Titanic"
Now I was informed by a friend that there was a Titanic 2 coming out or already out and so, of course I looked up Titanic 2 via the intra-net. And I found this movie trailer. Listen to this plot... It's about if Jack hadn't died that fateful night and if he and Rose made it to America together. The youtube trailer clip explains it all just watch it.
Alright so now after you've viewed the trailer does that now seem official: dreamworks . . . the release date . . . the whole shebang. It was even the same actors Leo and Kate. They were married and wanted to go back to France and unhappy. I mean I'm not saying it looked like the greatest sequel but it looked like a sequel...with the same actors! But you also must know that I've never seen the movie or any ad's for The Reader. So all weekend long I was raving about Titanic 2 Jack is Back admitting to everyone that yes it's a bit tacky but it's real. And I was just too excited and narrow minded to listen to anyones doubts. I mean yes many people told me it was fake... but I resisted and kept showing this youtube clip all weekend long. Everyone was probably thinking "how dumb is this blonde". . . but in my defense I haven't ever seen any clips or ad's for the movie The Reader which I guess has the same two actors, Leo and Kate. Ah shoot.
Well I'm not doing too great at this blog thing. I really am going to work on getting better. But you see with school, cross training my life away, crepes, running charades and scatter-ball there's not too much extra time for the blogging world. I mean I've got time when I'm on the bike for two hours...but it's not too practical to be on the computer while biking...now my ipod is another story. I'm loving reading articles and current events on my pod and listening to rockin' music and talking with my other injured teammates or friends who come biking with me.
Okay well I'm going to call it quits and head off to my evening class I'll catch you up on my life later blog world I can only put so much time into you. I've compose a list of 100 questions. I think I'll post that next. You're going to love 'em...I'm very very productive in class.
Oh p.s. earth day is this friday the holidays never end!
Go see African Cats in theaters in celebration of EARTH DAY! And try to be a little greener. A little better to the earth. Also next up the ultimate comeback EASTER!

I'm Baaaaaa-ack!
1.My dear friend Karli here at Utah State has re-inspired me to get back into blogging.
2.After spending over 15 minutes on my hour bike ride checking out her blog on my fancy pantsy itouch I decided today's the day. Todays the day I start again.
3. So I've attempted to add many new bloggers in this intra-net blogger world and I'm going to get back on top of this.
4. I now realize that oh so many people have these blogs more than i ever realized did last year! One including my fabulous brother Braden.
5.I discovered my only comment on my blog was from him. And it was almost a year ago...and somehow today is my first day seeing this.
6. But then again it's almost been a year since I started this whole blog intranet ordeal. I'd say I'm semi technologically savvy. Well I have a twitter for 3 years now. That's really the only thing that makes me feel technologically cool and ahead of my time.
7.Well I like to number things and make lists so get used to this format. Because I'm becoming a listography making blogger.
8. I'm still getting the hang of this blogging thing even though I've had it for a year.
9. After completing my online quizzes and homework I decided to reward myself with working on updating my blog.
10. I wasn't even going to post I figured reformatting everything was enough for one night. But...well i just decided I've really got to come back into this world with a bang. So here's my BANG!
11. Side note I'm on a quest for a road bike no need to be new just a need to be cheap.
12. Well I have so much to update you on dear blog. But you'll have to wait for another day because I smell like chlorine and I need to shower before midnight. Thank you one and all for reading this...if you read this...
13. I want to be more like Karli and post pictures on my blog...but i've forgotten how to do that so that's an adventure for another day.
14. Oh also!!!! ha i just keep thinking of more things...It's my bff wif a * birthday eve eve eve eve eve eve! So HAPPY BIRTHDAY eve EVE eve EVE eve EVE JOCELYN BETHANY!

Pure Summer Moments
Pure Summer Moments: How do i even begin to explain, you just have to expereince them, I guess like love, you can't explain until you've felt it (definitly not saying i've felt it....for those of you who are reading this and think I'm talking about a someone i'm not promise! anyways....) Pure Summer Moments are difficult to explain because it's just everything working out so perfectly, it's those moments when you have no cares, no worries & you're loving and living life in the exact second you're in not worrying about time or what might happen. Pure summer moments happen when you least expect them to, thats what makes them so pure. I've already had so many pure summer moments and I love them. It's seriously the best feeling in the world.
Now expereincing a pure summer moment is totally random and spuratic so to capture a pure summer moment on film is even harder. But this picture here is one of my favorite pure summer moments of all time. Shelbs, Joc, Anna & I were driving home from IHSA girls track & frield state meet watching the amazing Amanda Fox place 12th in state. She's DA BOMB! But anyways the whole car ride home we had been blasting music & dancing, not caring about how long it was taking us to get home not caring what else we had to do that day we were just living love and dancing in the present moment. And well when we started to slow down because of traffic we didn't even care we just started singing out the window to all teh cars around us on the freeway. And welll we happened to stick the camera out the window and just capture the moment. It wasn't until after the picture was snapped that i realized it was a pure summer moment on camera...because I was so busy living in the present that it didn't even realize it! Anyways got to go clean my room. This blog is helping me avoid cleaning but well my room is crying out, it needs my help. And well i've got a full week of work again starting tomorrow morning so goodbye forever. (Ha much much more to tell later through)
Moral of this blog: Pure Summer Moments are the best

As Time Passes By My Window I Notice Things Never Stay The Same
I love being home. It's crazy to look back a think just a year ago I was graduating from high school. Senior week, beach party, graduation, grad parties, state track nonstop action. There was just so much going on. So much family-so much friends-so much fun.
It was around this time too that friends began and continued to dissapoint me and I started to realize what a year of college would do to all of us. I had my ideas of how a year of college would change everyone and now it's wierd to be home and see how many of these friends have changed after a year apart in new and different surroundings.
Bahhh see I tell ya I only get on this blogger thing when I've been thinking to much. And well yup I've been thinking too much. But tonight is Shelby's graduation party. Once again: ah so crazy! I've made her a College survival kit & lessons she should know.
#1. Don't leave you'r dorm after 2 am- nothing good comes of it. And if you do bring a first aid kit.
#2. Multiple alarms are a good idea especially on exam days. And if you much result to parents and friends for a phone call.
#3. Use post it's and calendars! You may thing you can remember everthing but sorry you're getting old.
#4. You're never too old for a sippy cup, juice or crayons. (cups are a good alternative for bowls when eating cereal or ice cream & crayons are a excellent way to meet friends in a boring class)
#5. Avoid damage to your dorm walls and avoid fines but using those 3m hooks. Thery're the best!
#6. Freah fruits & veggies are essential to survival...along with sleep and water too aduh!
#7. Big comfy pillows and blankets are perfect for sleeping, sharing, & watching movies. They are a college must!
#8. "REMEBER WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU STAND FOR!" (and that I love you and I'm always there for you, only a phone call away)
#9. Have fun. Step out of your comfort zones. Don't miss me too much ;) But for sure don't forget to call em. And when you miss me or want to just dance just listen to this cd
(obviously i included a cd at that portion of the boook i made her)
Well down below is Sheldon my sister...actually Shelby Pealer we may not share a last name but I know that she'll always be there for me and I for her. She rocks and I'm dedication this blog to her. I don't think I've dedicated a blog before but hey I'm just learning the blogging world. She is such an example and inspiration to oh so many including me. She continually amazes me with all the service and good she does for others her heart is way to big for her own good. She always sees and believes in the good of others this girl is going to go far I tell ya nothing is going to stop her. Now time to go celebrate and dance at her grad party.

I had my ideas of how a year of college would change everyone and now it's wierd to be home and see how many of these friends have changed after a year apart in new and different surroundings.
But this year that has passes also has shown to me those constants in my life.I had my ideas pretty set in stone last year. And now I know with even more assurity of those that I can truly count on always, even if we've gone weeks or months without talking.
Seeing how some of my high school friends have changed in just one year scares me, I feel like I don't even know them anymore. Well actually I guess what I'm feeling is right, I don't know them anymore. But that makes me even more grateful for the friends I have met out at college. I just love them oh so verry verrrrrry much. Knowing I have great friends back at college makes this whole change thing much easier knowing I have marvelous friends to go back to in the fall & I just can't wait! Now don't get me wrong I'm loving this home and bestest friends around me deal too! But I've come to realize while this home & Naperville will always be my home it won't always be my life.
